I remember my old Yankees blog—a terrible, non-accurate, always-slow-on-news Yankee blog. Yeah, it was hosted on Blogspot, a free blog creator. When I started my old blog, I was barely familiar with the great franchise itself. Of course, everyday there were news, games and more to write on the blog, and I couldn’t keep up with the pace. Information were lacking detail, and some major news were skipped. My readers on the old blog steadily decreased. That’s why I decided to stop my Blogspot Yankees blog and move on to other things in mid July of 2007—and over 3 years of Yankee writing (on the old blog) were gone. Forever. (Of course, I still watch Yankee games even though my old blog was stopped permanently)
It wasn’t until sometime around the summer of 2008 that I decide to make a new Yankees blog–this time on WordPress, a blog creator that I recently discovered. Blogs like Scott Proctor’s Arm, Lohud Yankees Blog, Yankees for Justice and countless others inspired my greatly to join the club of fabulous Yankee bloggers.
That’s how Yankees Faithful was reborn, now on WordPress, alive with accurate info, latest news, and Yankee opinions. Personally, I think WordPress’ themes, blog management and design are much better than Blogspot’s. You might first check out the number of hits on this blog—not much, I admit—but you realize this blog was created sometime in June 2008, so not much readers know about it yet. More and more are coming each day however. You, too, are welcome.
That’s it. If you want to know more about this blog, check out the About this Blog section. Or, just go to the home page and start reading already!
Thank you for supporting Yankees Faithful!!!
