
39-year old Mike Mussina, who just came off a spectacular 2008 season in which he won 20 games, procured his seventh career Gold Glove award. Kudos to you, Moose. You should really consider coming back to the Yanks in ‘09, now.

Well, look at Mussina. 20 wins, low ERA, lots of K’s, good control, pitches well into innings…etc. All at age 39. That, people, is the true form of a Cy Young-caliber pitcher. His defense is great, too, thats why he received a Gold Glove.
