Mike Mussina finally did it. The 39- year old righty won his 20th victory of the season, setting a career-high wins record. Kudos, Moose. You’ve always been the anchor of the Yanks’ staff this year!

Because of the rainout against the Red Sox in Game 161, the Yankees will play a doubleheader on the final day of the MLB season. What a way to end a baseball year full of surprises and miracles, eh? G’luck Yanks.

The New York Yankees, eliminated from the playoff race just recently, helped themselves to a bit of revenge. Their rival the Boston Red Sox are responsible for ending the Yankees’ 13-year playoff streak, so now, the Yankees are doing everything they can to help the Tampa Bay Rays win the division.
