Looks like it is. The Yankees’ inconsistency in offense and rallies seems to drag on and on. A big part of this is the middle of the lineup. A-Rod has an OPS of 1.000 or something, but that is without RISP. His OPS with runners at second is about .200 lower. Same case with Giambi, who is currently in a deep slump. It might be time to shuffle the lineup and call Melky Cabrera up.
In 34 Triple-A at-bats, Melky Cabrera has 13 hits (.382 batting average).
He has also walked six times. In the Majors, he had six walks since June 24 before being demoted after the August 13 game. That’s real decent, so call him and Alfredo Aceves up, move Damon to cleanup, Jeter to leadoff and Giambi to the No. 3. That’s just my opinion, though. Anyway, the Yankees must win 2 out of 3 for every series left, to even get noticed in the playoff race.

Call up melky, christian and duncan. Drop abreu pudge and robertson to the minors.
aceves was called up. wooot
No, man. Pudge is starting to heat up and Abreu also. Pudge homered recently and Abreu collected a ton of hits over his past few games. Anyway, Phil Coke was certainly useful, I’m glad the Yankees did not deal him to the Pirates.
Coca Cola Coke!
