Well, bad news in Yankee Nation. Hideki Matsui, one of the best DHs in the league and the most consistent hitter in the Yankees, is heading to the 15-day DL because of his injured knee. Losing Matsui not only loses good hitting, but also provides a headache because Johnny Damon is also having minor problems with his health. Justin Christian is expected to split time in left field. All we can hope for is for Matsui to come back earlier, not like the injury he got in 2006. Come on Hideki!!! We need you in a playoff race!!!
