Well, against our crosstown rivals the New York Mets, the Yankees are sending pitcher Dan Giese, who got outdueled by Cinccinnati Reds ace Edinson Volquez in his last outing, and Sidney Ponson, who the Yanks just signed to a contract. My guess is that Dan Giese will prevail in the first game of the Doubleheader, but collapse in the second game, because Ponson is facing Mets ace Pedro Martinez. Ah well, 6ER, 2 BB, 1 K for Ponson, 2 ER, 0 BB, 9K for Pedro. Reasonable, but I still want Ponson to win. Go Yanks, and let’s await tomorrow’s results!
